     LifeBridge Technolgies recognizes that a means for rapid, effective circulatory support for cardiogenic shock or sudden death remains an unmet need.  Direct mechanical ventricular actuation (DMVA) is a non-blood contacting method that supports both systolic and diastolic ventricular function.  DMVA can reestablish normal hemodynamics in the fibrillating or non-beating heart within minutes.  It is equally effective in augmenting pump function during severe heart failure or cardiogenic shock.
